If you are taking a private vehicle, take the North Luzon Expressway and continue along the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX). Take the SCTEX until it merges with the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX). Continue along TPLEX until it ends at the exit for Rosario, La Union. From Rosario, follow the national highway going east toward Baler, Aurora. Pass through the towns of San Fernando and San Juan until you reach Baler. Once in Baler, ask for directions to the Talaytay Protected Landscape. You can also have a local guide accompany you, as the landscape is not well-marked for visitors.
