South Cotabato

What if your next journey will lead you to a place where culture, nature, and adventure are beautifully woven together?

South Cotabato, the Land of the Dream Weavers, invites you to discover the rich heritage of the T’boli people through the art of T’nalak weaving and the legacy of master weaver Lang Dulay.

From the cultural treasures of the House of Gongs and T’boli Museum to the thrilling Lake Sebu Seven Falls zipline, the province offers a meaningful and unforgettable experience.

Lake Sebu

If there’s one place that captures the beauty and spirit of South Cotabato, it’s Lake Sebu. It is one of South Cotabato’s most iconic destinations, where lush forests, tranquil lakes, and rich T’boli culture come together.

Home to the famous Seven Falls, you can experience the thrill of soaring above the cascading waters on one of Southeast Asia’s highest ziplines while enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Beyond the adventure, Lake Sebu offers you a refreshing escape filled with cultural encounters, nature experiences, and scenic beauty at every turn.

In Lake Sebu, you can soar above the famous Seven Falls on a zipline, enjoy boat rides across the lake, and take in spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and forests. You can also explore T’boli cultural sites, sample local delicacies, and experience the unique traditions of the community.

Manlilikha ng Bayan Centers

Where culture, craftsmanship, and tradition come alive. The Manlilikha ng Bayan Centers in Lake Sebu offer you a unique opportunity to experience the living heritage of the T’boli people through traditional T’nalak weaving, brass making, and indigenous chanting. As a home to National Living Treasures and master artisans, these centers showcase generations of knowledge, creativity, and cultural expression that continue to thrive today.

More than a cultural attraction, the centers provide you with a meaningful journey into the traditions, stories, and artistry of one of the Philippines’ most vibrant indigenous communities.

You can watch master artisans create intricate T’nalak textiles, craft traditional brassware, and perform indigenous T’boli chants that have been passed down through generations. You can also interact with cultural bearers, learn about the stories and traditions behind each art form, and purchase authentic handcrafted products as meaningful souvenirs.

T’nalak Festival

What better way to experience the vibrant culture of South Cotabato than through its grandest celebration?

The T’nalak Festival is a colorful annual event held every July in honor of the province’s founding anniversary. Inspired by the iconic T’nalak cloth of the T’boli people, the festival showcases the rich cultural heritage, creativity, and unity of South Cotabato through lively street dancing, cultural performances, beautifully decorated floats, and community celebrations that bring the province to life.

At the T’nalak Festival, you can enjoy colorful street dancing competitions, cultural performances, civic and float parades, and various community events that showcase the traditions and creativity of South Cotabato’s diverse communities. It is also a great opportunity for you to sample local delicacies, shop for handcrafted products, and experience the province’s festive atmosphere.
