Cordillera Administrative Region

The  Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) is the only land-locked region in the Philippines, comprising six highland provinces: Abra, Apayao, Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, and the highly urbanized City of Baguio, which also serves as the regional center of the region.

When you find yourself in the Cordilleras, you will be captivated by its picturesque mountainscapes, such as Mount Pulag in Benguet and Kiltepan Peak in Sagada; its vibrant festivals like the Abrenian Kawayan Festival in Abra and the Panagbenga Festival in Baguio City; and a variety of its heirloom rice, among others.
