The church was built of stone blocks with a cross-shaped floor area with the altar and sacristy at the peak of the cross before it was mistaken for a Japanese hospital and bombed during World War II. The church was reconstructed by priests who were appointed after the war. Now, it is frequented by Sts. Peter and Paul believers, as well as residents and visitors.
