Get DirectionsOn April 20, 1641, the church was declared a vicariate. It was later destroyed during the Dutch invasion in 1647. During the Philippine Revolution, the Katipuneros burned it down to flush out their enemies who had hidden in the convent. It was rebuilt into what now exists as an adobe brick structure. If you prefer to drive, take the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and exit at the Dau Toll Plaza. From here, follow the signs leading to the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) and continue until you reach the Tipo Toll Plaza. Exit at the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) and follow the signs to Samal, Bataan.
