One of the locals’ ways to preserve their culture is through the exuberant Puto Latik Festival, which celebrates the ‘puto Biñan’ (the city’s version of steamed rice cake) and the ‘maglalatik’ folk war dance offered to San Isidro Labrador, the town’s patron saint.
