Pintados-Kasadyaan Festival

Tacloban City, LeyteFestival Date: June 26, 2023 First celebrated in 1987, Pintados Festival is Leyte’s oldest and biggest festival. It showcases the precolonial practice of tattooing, and at the same time, tells how Tacloban’s ancestors came to accept Christianity and develop a great love for the Señor Santo Niño. Kasadyaan, on the other hand, brings together the different festivals of the provinces as well as other celebrations from the Visayas and Mindanao. The two festivals are celebrated together for a whole month.
