Morong, BataanFestival Date: November 25, 2023 The Pawikan Festival in Morong, Bataan, held every last Sunday of November or first Sunday of December at the Pawikan Conservation Center, has a significant purpose: to protect marine turtles, known locally as ‘pawikan.’ The festival is in itself a form of advocacy, with the aim of increasing awareness about protecting the sea creatures.
