Calapan City, Oriental MindoroFestival Date: April 21, 2023 Pandang Gitab comes from Pandanggo, a Filipino folk dance involving candles, and ‘dagitab,’ a word meaning flickering light. This festival of dance and lights treats spectators to beautiful displays of grace, talent, wonderful music, and artful costumes. The Pandanggo, or Pandanggo sa Ilaw, dance is thought to have originated in Lubang town in Occidental Mindoro.
