The plantation is managed and maintained by the Higaonon tribal communities of the area as part of the local government’s sustainable livelihood program. The plantation also processes the ‘Camellia sinensis’ plants from which oolong is made. Oolong is a variation of tea that falls between black and green. Stop by Gingoog Terminal, and from the city proper, hire a motorcycle or ‘dulog’ (motorized rickshaw) to Oolong Tea Plantation.
