Palompon, LeyteFestival Date: November 26, 2023 Lawig Festival is a nine-day celebration that pays homage to Saint Francis Xavier, the town’s patron saint. It is also the coastal town’s way of asking for a bountiful fishing harvest from the patron saint, who is a known sailor. The Abre Grande is a prelude to the festival.
