Giant Lantern Festival

City of San Fernando, PampangaFestival Date: December 09, 2023 San Fernando’s famous giant lanterns rise high and have a diameter of about 5 to 6 meters. The amazing light displays are fitted with 7,000 to 10,000 bulbs that blink on and off through a number of rotors synced to a medley of Filipino Christmas songs. The festival is participated in by some eight to 10 of the villages of the city, with each one creating its own design, color combination, and interplay of lights and sound.
