Declared by government as a protected seascape, these four islets namely: Himokilan, Apid, Digyo and Mahaba boast of diverse marine ecosystem, powdery white sand beach coves, sandbars and the popular coconut crabs. Fast emerging as a cruise shore excursion destination, Cuatro Islas also received a commemorative marker from the NQC as one of the islands (Himokilan) identified in the Magellan expedition.
