Commemoration of Tejeros Convention

Rosario, CaviteFestival Date: March 22, 2023 During the Philippine Revolution, two factions of the freedom-fighting Katipuneros arose: the Magdalo and the Magdiwang. First Philippine President Emilio Aguinaldo led the former faction, while the celebrated hero and Katipunan cofounder Andres Bonifacio led the latter. To reconcile their differences and achieve freedom for Filipinos, the revolutionaries conducted the Tejeros Convention, which gave rise to the creation of a revolutionary government.
