Naval, BiliranFestival Date: October 07, 2023 Bagasumbol Festival, also known as ‘Halad sa Birhen,’ is celebrated every October to honor Naval’s patroness, Nuestra Señora Virgen del Rosario. The Blessed Virgin Mary is also the inspiration behind the pronouncement of Naval as a diocese. Thus the festival is an offering to the Blessed Virgin Mary for the people’s bountiful catch and harvest.
