Caving: Latay Cave and Forest Trail

Embark on a thrilling caving experience in the first biospeleologically significant site in Mindanao, as declared by City Environment and Natural Resources Office. Biospeleology deals with life-forms that live in caves. Here, endemic species, such as rare blind crabs were discovered in 1997. Curious explorers visiting this location in Purok Latay, Rosario, will encounter enchanting caverns lined with jagged stalagmites and stalactites, and above it, the untamed wilderness of lush tropical rainforests.
