Baclayon Church and Museum Tour

Uncover the rich local history by visiting the oldest Christian settlement in Bohol, La Purisima Concepcion de la Virgen Maria. Known simply as Baclayon Church, it is a hybrid structure of what the Jesuits and the Augustinian Recollects constructed using a coral stone plaster mix. The Augustinian Recollects are attributed with three arches at the portico, and the churchs museum of religious relics and other ecclesiastical artifacts.
